WEB to SMS

This simple-to-use online interface allows you to communicate instantly with individuals or groups via bulk SMS messaging. Web to SMS has several user-friendly features for sending SMS messages using your Internet browser. You can log on to SMS Warehouse to access our Web to SMS platform wherever you have an Internet connection (at work, home, hotel, Internet café or at a WI-FI hot spot).

How to enable Web to SMS

Register online at www.sms-warehouse.com . When you register you will receive five free credits. You will need to create a username and password to use to login to the Web to SMS facility. Contact our support desk if you have any further questions on the Web to SMS solution and several other packages that we offer.

Web to SMS features

The following features are available with the Web to SMS solution.

Phonebook

Using our phonebook you can set up a database of names, mobile phone numbers and email addresses to access and edit online. The database resides behind a highly secure firewall. The online phonebook can be used to arrange contacts into groups. Groups ensure that only targeted users receive messages. Existing databases (e.g. in MS Excel) of mobile phone numbers and personalized messages can be uploaded to the groups created on your SMS Warehouse account. You will get a unique group ID number, using this Group ID you can send bulk SMS to all the people in your phonebook.

Message history with status reports

Use your message history to find out to whom, when, and how many messages you have sent, and your current delivery status. You can also view the history of your previous scheduled messages sent.

Buy and manage credits on line

You are able to purchase credits online via our Commerce Centre. This section also displays the history of credits that you have purchased and used.

Scheduling messages for a future date

This allows you to send a message to an individual or group from your sms-warehouse.com account at a particular time, even if don’t have access to a PC or the Internet at that time. With scheduled messaging, you can set messages to go out in minutes into the future (days, weeks or even years).

Upload unique messages from file

This feature allows you to send a message to multiple people via a text file upload. Prior to sending, you will need to create a text (tab delimited) file that contains each cellular phone number and the unique message.

Purge failed numbers

Cleaning up your phonebook just got easier. Use ‘Failed Number Purge’ to best maintain your phonebook groups. This allows you to purge numbers based on a chosen number of consecutive SMS delivery failures.

Controllable sender ID

You can set who the SMS is from to display either a phone number or up to 11 alphanumeric characters (such as ‘My Company’). This feature is available on most routes.

SMS merge

Personalise your message when sending SMS messages to groups. While composing an SMS message to send to a group, all you have to do is click a button for ‘First Name’ or ‘Surname’ and then your sms-warehouse.com account will automatically place the required information from your online phonebook into the message. It is that easy, and it will give your messages more credibility.

SMS Collection and Library

When you send individual or group SMS messages, You can save your messages in your database and reuse them later. All messages will be saved into your personal account database, so no one else can see or use them. You can also use ‘Message Templates’, which is a library of prewritten messages for different categories.

Mobile to group SMS

You can send SMS messages to your sms-warehouse.com account group from your mobile. For this you have to register your mobile numbers at your sms-warehouse.com account, and then you can send an SMS to sms-warehouse.com with information of the group ID and the message to be sent.
